Materials: Reclaimed polyester and dispersal dye – Digital and hand dye sublimation.
This piece utilises a dress fragment (sleeve) in the printing process and incorporates a cropped photograph of the Walpole tidal pool, Margate, Kent, a small child and boy can be seen walking along the beach side of the pool.

These pieces are seen as working drawings and collages on cloth and are pieces developed alongside my large scale work to explore ideas and ways of working. All pieces are made using digital and/or hand dye sublimation printing with dispersal dyes.
All pieces are made using reclaimed polyester fabric with inherent marks and flaws due to their history, I see these as integral parts of the work. Colour is stable but with all artworks they are best placed away from direct sunlight.
Often pieces are not fully square, they have cut and fraying edges, this is part of the work.
The textile artwork stitched to a white backing cloth ready for framing.
Colour is represented as accurately as possible in the photos but may vary on different digital screens. With this in mind I accept returns if the piece is not as expected, or you are not happy with the piece - please get in touch to arrange a return and refund. Please return work in original packaging and follow my instructions for packaging.
Original textile pieces will be sent through UK postal service, recorded deliver, either rolled on a cardboard tube or flat packed in robust cardboard. The original textile will be well packaged in acid free tissue paper and a layer of waterproof bubble wrap. You will receive a certificate of authentication.
