Weave My Own Dress is an original hand-woven tapestry installation. The piece is shortlisted for the international Kate Derum Award a biennial celebrating creativity and excellence in contemporary tapestry.
Weave My Own Dress will be exhibited along with other finalists at the Australian Tapestry Workshop this summer the exhibition Opens Thursday 25 July and is on until Friday 18 October 2024 2024

The Kate Derum Award celebrates a strong concept successfully communicated through woven tapestry with an expressive use of tapestry through materials, form, colour and design. Generously supported by Susan Morgan, the Kate Derum Award honours Kate Derum and her significant contribution to tapestry as an artist, weaver, teacher, mentor and former Studio Manager of the Australian Tapestry Workshop.

This is a numbered edition from an authentic limited publication. It is produced using the giclée method of digital printing to Fine Art Trade Guild standards and will come with a signed certificate of authentication.
